Your real store, not a stock template

Most Black Friday promo templates give you a generic phone with a placeholder screenshot to swap in. Mockvid starts from your URL instead: it scrolls through your live store on desktop and mobile and plays that recording on the devices. Your products, your prices and your banners are the ones shoppers will see on the day.

The Black Friday scene adds the seasonal part around them: gift boxes, price tags and a percent sign floating in black and gold, warm particles and dramatic lighting. The camera keeps moving, so the clip reads as a video in a feed, not a still image.

How to make it

  1. Open the scene. The button on this page opens the app with the Black Friday template already applied.
  2. Paste your store URL and hit Generate. Pick the page that carries your offer: the home page with your sale banner, a collection or a best seller.
  3. Add your offer. Turn on the text overlay and write it as the title, with a short line under it and your logo.
  4. Pick a format and a motion. 9:16 with the Reels motion for vertical video, 4:5 or 1:1 for the feed, 16:9 for YouTube or your site.
  5. Export as MP4 for every platform, or as GIF or WebP for an email.

Prepare it early

Capture your store once the sale banner is live, even on a staging page, and export one clip per placement. Re-exporting another format or motion from the same capture is quick, so the week of the sale is spent posting, not editing.

The template shows up in the app from November 1. The link above opens it at any time.

For stores and the agencies behind them

Store owners get a promo clip of their own site without a video editor. Agencies and web designers preparing campaigns for several clients capture each store once and export a series in the same look. Studio covers every domain you capture, so one plan serves the whole client list. For a clip without the seasonal scene, the website mockup video page covers the everyday version, and the transparent mockup video lets you drop the devices over your own Black Friday visuals.

FAQ

Does it work with a Shopify or WooCommerce store?

Yes. Mockvid captures any public web page from its URL, whatever it is built with: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow or a custom site. The page has to be public: a store still behind its password page cannot be captured.

Can I show my discount in the video?

Yes. Turn on the text overlay and write your offer as the title, for example 30% off this weekend, with a short line under it. You pick the font from Google Fonts and can add your logo.

Which format should I use for Instagram, TikTok or ads?

9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Stories, 4:5 or 1:1 for the feed, and 16:9 for YouTube or your website. The same scene switches between them, so you can export one version per placement.

Is it free?

Generating your mockup and previewing the Black Friday scene is free, with no account. Exporting a video with the Black Friday scene is part of Studio, at $49 a year for every site you capture, with no watermark and up to 4K at 60 fps.

When is the Black Friday template available?

It shows up in the app's templates from November 1 to early December. The link on this page opens it at any time, so you can prepare your clips ahead of the sale.

How long does it take?

Capturing your site takes a few minutes, since Mockvid scrolls through the real page on desktop and mobile. Switching the scene, the motion or the format afterwards is instant, and each export takes a few minutes more.
